Tree Trimming Operation - Traffic

MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that trail construction and tree clearing operations will continue on Ellis Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County, as part of a local safety improvement project.

From Thursday, May 1, through Friday, May 30, motorists can expect weekday lane closures with flagging along Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Drivers traveling in this area are encouraged to plan for delays and allow extra time for their commutes.

This phase of the project focuses on clearing trees to facilitate the continued construction of the trail. The initiative seeks to improve safety and provide enhanced recreational opportunities for the local community.

PennDOT reminds motorists that all scheduled work is weather dependent and advises caution when traveling near the construction site to ensure the safety of both workers and drivers.
