Traffic Slowdowns Expected Due to Bridge Inspections in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming bridge inspections that may cause traffic slowdowns on Interstate 95 and Tacony Street.

On Wednesday, July 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, alternating lane closures will impact the northbound deck of the I-95 Girard Point Bridge. This will affect the stretch between the Enterprise Avenue and Broad Street interchanges.

Additionally, on Thursday, July 25, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Tacony Street between Aramingo Avenue and Bridge Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time when passing through these areas. All activities are weather dependent.
