BUCKS COUNTY & DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming crack sealing and resurfacing operations that will temporarily close sections of three state highways in Bucks and Delaware counties over the coming weeks.
The closures, designed to address critical roadway maintenance, are scheduled as follows:
- Trenton Road (Bucks County) will be closed nightly from Monday, March 3, through Friday, March 7, from midnight to 6:00 AM. The closure spans from Route 513 (Bellevue Avenue) to Tyburn Road in Falls and Middletown townships and Hulmeville Borough. Detours will redirect traffic to Route 513 (Bellevue Avenue) and Lincoln Highway.
- Mill Street/Radcliffe Street/Main Street (Bucks County) will be closed weekdays from Thursday, March 6, through Friday, March 14, during overnight hours from midnight to 6:00 AM. The closure affects sections between Bath Street and Fallsington Avenue in Bristol Township and Bristol and Tullytown boroughs. Motorists will be detoured via Bath Street, Route 13 (Bristol Pike), and Fallsington Avenue.
- Northbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) ramp to northbound Route 352 (Middletown Road) (Delaware County) will be closed weekdays from Monday, March 10, through Friday, March 21, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Detoured routes will direct vehicles to U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike), Pennell Road, and Route 352.
Local access will remain available to residents and businesses near the affected areas. Motorists are advised to plan for delays and allow extra travel time while passing near the work zones, as backups are expected.
