CONCORD TWP, PA — PECO Energy has announced plans to conduct tree removal operations along Thornton Road in Concord Township, Delaware County, starting Wednesday, January 22. The work is scheduled to span three days, with road closures in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Friday, January 24.
During this time, Thornton Road will be closed between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Mill Road. Motorists will be directed to follow a detour route via U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike), Brinton Lake Road, and Mill Road. Local access will remain available up to the work zone.
Drivers traveling in the area should plan for delays and allow for additional travel time, as traffic congestion is anticipated near the construction site. All scheduled work is dependent on weather conditions.
