TheraCom, alongside law enforcement and cybersecurity experts, has identified certain patients whose personal information was compromised.
The breach affected data maintained for the distribution of prescription medication to patients in assistance programs. Compromised personal details include names, addresses, birth dates, prescription details, medical history and treatment information, health insurance data, and Medicare/Medicaid numbers. Despite the breach, there is no evidence suggesting public disclosure or fraudulent misuse of this information.
As part of its response, TheraCom has set up a toll-free assistance line at 1-833-918-8818, available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Affected individuals can find additional information and resources on TheraCom’s website.
