ELIZABETHTOWN, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police from the Lancaster Barracks are investigating a retail theft incident that occurred on December 4, 2023, at the Tractor Supply store in Elizabeth Township, Lancaster County.
At around 1 PM that day, a man and a woman, captured in surveillance footage, allegedly committed the theft. The suspects reportedly used a galvanized trash can to conceal power tools, effectively blocking the signals from the store’s security devices.
The pair arrived and left the scene in a distinctive vehicle, described as a dark green or black Jeep Grand Cherokee, model years 1998 – 2004. Notable features of the vehicle include a lift kit, black simulated bead lock rims, a roof rack with a Jerry can strapped to it, and an American flag decal covering the driver’s side rear window.
As the investigation continues, the State Police are urging anyone with information relating to the incident or the suspects to come forward. You can contact PSP Lancaster directly at 717-299-7650. Alternatively, those wishing to report information anonymously can reach out to the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477).
