BALA CYNWYD, PA — Terravet Real Estate Solutions has announced its expansion into the Atlanta metro area with the $5.37 million acquisition of three leading veterinary and pet care facilities located in Peachtree City and Fairburn, Georgia. This move marks a pivotal step for Terravet as it establishes a presence in one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing regions.
The acquisition includes two standalone veterinary practices, Animal Medical Clinic of Peachtree City and Animal Medical Clinic of Fairburn, as well as the Animal Medical Clinic’s Pet Care Center & Hotel, a dedicated pet boarding facility. The three properties collectively span 19,649 square feet and are strategically positioned to serve the growing suburban communities southwest of Atlanta, ensuring enhanced access to high-quality veterinary care.
“This expansion into Atlanta is an exciting step forward for Terravet, reinforcing our mission to support veterinary practices with modern, accessible facilities,” said Daniel Eisenstadt, CEO of Terravet Real Estate Solutions. “We’re proud to collaborate with Dr. Vince Obsitnik and the Animal Medical Clinic team, whose dedication to compassionate, high-quality care aligns perfectly with our values.”
The acquisition was facilitated through Terravet’s REIT, which focuses on acquiring best-in-class veterinary real estate designed to meet the industry’s specific needs. With over 650,000 square feet of purpose-built veterinary facilities, the Terravet REIT provides veterinary entrepreneurs an opportunity to diversify their investment portfolios through UPREIT transactions, while simultaneously minimizing risks and increasing the value of their real estate holdings.
Commenting on the decision to join Terravet’s REIT, Dr. Vince Obsitnik stated, “My business partners and I did an extensive investigation into options available for our veterinary properties and opted to join the Terravet REIT. We value the opportunity to diversify and enhance the value of our investment and to partner with the professional team at Terravet.”
Terravet currently owns 168 properties, totaling more than 1.5 million square feet of real estate in 35 states. This latest acquisition not only strengthens its footprint but also underscores its commitment to supporting veterinary practices with state-of-the-art facilities that align with the highest standards of care.
