Surgent Accounting & Financial Education

RADNOR, PA — Surgent CPE has unveiled nearly 50 new continuing professional education (CPE) courses tailored to meet the needs of accounting professionals as they shift focus following the 2025 busy season.

“This robust selection of timely and practical courses empowers accounting professionals to stay ahead in a dynamic industry,” said Elizabeth Kolar, executive vice president and managing director of Surgent. With the June 30 CPE deadline looming, courses are designed for convenience, offering both live webinars and on-demand options.

The new lineup includes 30 live webinars starting April 22 and 18 on-demand courses focusing on vital tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI. These additions reflect Surgent’s emphasis on technology integration and professional development within the accounting field. To address the evolving role of technology, five specialized courses on artificial intelligence will equip CPAs with skills to leverage AI and enhance data analytics.

“With new tax laws expected in 2025, our tax-focused courses provide essential tools for enhancing practitioner effectiveness and delivering value to clients,” noted Nick Spoltore, vice president of tax and advisory content. Among the webinar topics are AI in accounting, business valuation, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and updates on IRS forms.

Surgent’s offerings aim to support CPAs in navigating both emerging technologies and forthcoming regulatory changes, while providing impactful learning opportunities to fulfill their CPE requirements efficiently.

The new on-demand Microsoft Excel and Power BI courses are now available in Surgent’s course catalog here.
