HORSHAM, PA — STRATA Skin Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSKN) announced the promotion of Shmuel Gov to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Concurrently, the company also welcomed Dr. Amandeep Kaur as Vice President of Marketing and Business Growth.
Shmuel Gov, a seasoned industry veteran with over three decades of experience in medical device business, operations, and R&D, steps into his new role after serving as STRATA’s Senior Vice President and General Manager. He has been instrumental in leading operations at the Company’s manufacturing and R&D facility in Carlsbad, CA. Prior to STRATA, Gov played a key role in the acquisition of LasikPlus for Photomedex, from which STRATA acquired its core XTRAC® and VTRAC® product lines. His groundbreaking go-to-market strategy for XTRAC partners significantly enhanced the company’s value proposition.
In his previous roles, Gov led the technological updates and the R&D of the XTRAC product line, including the launch of S3® and Momentum®, and was responsible for creating an in-house call center and enhancing reimbursement support functions.
