PHILADELPHIA, PA — Stockwell Elastomerics, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance elastomeric solutions, has announced significant additions to its customer service team. The Philadelphia-based firm has enlisted industry veterans Andrea McCormick and Deb Beckett to help elevate its customer service capabilities.
The addition of McCormick and Beckett comes as part of the company’s broader strategy to invest in people, equipment, and processes to better serve its customers in the technology sector. This announcement follows a period of substantial growth for Stockwell Elastomerics, marked by the acquisition of ten pieces of manufacturing equipment, a 20% expansion of the manufacturing team, and the addition of six new engineers within the company.
Deb Beckett joins the team as Senior Customer Service Representative. Beckett brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having spent over 15 years in management roles and more than two decades in customer service. Her deep understanding of industrial processes and specialty technical materials, honed through previous positions at Catalent Pharma Solutions, Accupac, Paris Corporation, and QPSI, LLC, will be invaluable to Stockwell Elastomerics’ strategic customers.
Andrea McCormick steps into the role of Director of Customer Service. With over 20 years of experience in customer service across diverse sectors, including retail and medical, McCormick brings a proven track record in building systems to ensure world-class customer service. She holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY.
William Stockwell, the Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Stockwell Elastomerics, underscored the importance of these appointments. “We are committed to having the fastest and the most capable service team in the businesses we support,” said Stockwell. “These additions to the team were needed to further enhance the customer experience.”
Tom Charno, Stockwell Elastomerics’ Vice President of Sales, echoed Stockwell’s sentiment, adding that the enhanced customer service team perfectly complements the firm’s technical expertise, enabling it to continue being the go-to resource for gasket and sealing needs in challenging technology applications.
The recruitment of Beckett and McCormick follows the company’s 2022 addition of two degreed mechanical engineers to the customer service team. Tom Rimel, President of Stockwell Elastomerics, noted, “We created the position of Customer Service Engineer to set a new standard in technical support of our customers.”
With these strategic appointments, Stockwell Elastomerics is poised to further its mission of delivering top-tier elastomeric solutions while providing unparalleled customer service.
