John Dickinson Plantation

Step back in time with the Thistledown Fiber Arts Guild Demonstrations at the historic John Dickinson Plantation. Held on Saturday, January 11, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, these demonstrations showcase traditional fiber arts, including spinning, weaving, and knitting. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness skilled artisans practicing historic handcrafts, offering a fascinating view of 18th-century domestic life.

New Castle Court House Museum

The New Castle Court House Museum offers two intriguing programs on Saturday, January 18.

At 12:00 PM, visitors can participate in a reenactment of the Trial of Thomas Garrett, a pivotal abolitionist trial from 1848.
