ASTON, PA — In an era where data-driven decisions are vital for business growth, having access to accurate, actionable insights is crucial. Recognizing the gap in email performance reporting, SocketLabs, a leading email service provider (ESP), has launched SocketLabs Spotlight, a standalone tool designed to provide businesses with much-needed visibility into their email performance data.

SocketLabs Spotlight aims to address the current industry challenge where senders using other ESPs often find themselves grappling with raw numbers that provide little actionable insight. This lack of diagnostic and directional data hampers effective decision-making, which can adversely affect email performance and, consequently, business growth.

Louis Driving Hawk, head of product and growth at SocketLabs, emphasized the need for such a tool, stating, “With email being a value-driving key to growth, Spotlight reporting is the solution senders need to stop flying blind with data that provides little actionable insight. You no longer need to be an email expert to make business-impacting email decisions.”

The new tool offers users a highly customizable dashboard that displays account-wide activity at a glance, allowing users to build, save, and share reports without spending hours sifting through data. One of the key features of SocketLabs Spotlight is the StreamScore, a proprietary score derived from more than 35 data points that offers a color-coded assessment of the sender’s reputation.

StreamScores are broken down into four major performance-impacting categories, enabling users to identify a problem, understand which aspect of their program is suffering, and why. Additionally, Spotlight’s Guided Insights provide granular advice to assist senders’ optimization decisions.

Bill Volz, co-founder and CTO at SocketLabs, believes that the introduction of the Spotlight reporting tool will be a game-changer for customers of other ESPs. “Customers of other ESPs will be able to funnel data into our reporting tool to get more value from the data they’re currently getting without needing to migrate providers,” he said.
