Slope Inspection Planned Next Week on I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that slope inspections will occur during the day next week on Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Upper Merion and Lower Merion townships, and West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County.

On Monday, November 13, through Friday, November 17, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, periodic shoulder closures will be in place on sections of eastbound and westbound I-76 between the U.S. 202 and U.S. 1 South (City Avenue) interchanges.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
