PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that sign installation will occur on Stump Road in Plumstead Township, Bucks County, under a project to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
The work schedule and location are:
- Monday, August 28, through Friday, September 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a periodic weekday lane closure is scheduled on Stump Road between Worthington Road and Silo Hill Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, is the general contractor on this $7.5 million project, which is financed with 100% federal funds.
