SEI Joins Bank of England’s Digital Securities Sandbox in Partnership with Ctrl Alt

The initiative aims to advance financial innovation by testing blockchain and distributed ledger technology within a controlled environment, ensuring market stability and integrity.

The DSS will assess the role of digital securities in traditional financial systems, exploring their potential to streamline post-trade processes. SEI will contribute by providing assets for tokenization during the second phase of the initiative and may manage custody and crypto-asset activity if the phase progresses successfully.
