KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Weckerly’s Ice Cream, a beloved name in Philadelphia’s culinary landscape, has announced the opening of its second location at the King of Prussia Mall. To mark this occasion, Weckerly’s will host a special event on Thursday, September 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., where the first 100 customers are treated to a complimentary scoop of ice cream.
Since its inception in 2012, Weckerly’s has captivated the taste buds of ice cream aficionados with inventive small-batch flavors, crafted meticulously at their Northeast Philadelphia kitchen. The new location will continue this tradition, offering 12 rotating flavors, including autumnal delights like Pumpkin Spice Latte, Just Peachy, and Pear Vanilla Sorbet.
These flavors are a testament to Weckerly’s commitment to quality and creativity. The Pumpkin Spice Latte flavor combines coffee ice cream with pumpkin bourbon ice cream, nestled between cinnamon cookies. Just Peachy captures the essence of peach cobbler with local peaches and pie dough crumbles swirled into vanilla ice cream. The Pear Vanilla Sorbet features roasted pears with vanilla and spices, creating a refreshing treat.

Located on the lower level of the mall near the Nordstrom entrance, Weckerly’s new scoop shop is set to become a favorite for both locals and visitors. The shop operates Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
