SOLEBURY TWP — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that paving operations are set to begin on Route 32 (River Road) in Solebury Township, Bucks County. The project is scheduled to run from Thursday, August 15, through Friday, August 23, with closures occurring on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
During this period, Route 32 will be closed between Route 263 (Upper York Road) and Phillips Mill Road. Motorists will be directed to use Route 263 (Upper York Road) and Phillips Mill Road as detour routes. Local access will be maintained, ensuring that residents and businesses can still reach their destinations.
Drivers are advised to plan for extra travel time due to expected backups and delays in the vicinity of the work area. PennDOT reminds motorists to exercise caution and drive safely through the detour routes. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
