DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania will install a water main on Route 252 (Providence Road) in Nether Providence Township, leading to significant traffic disruptions.
From Monday, June 24, through Friday, November 29, Route 252 will be closed weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between Brookhaven Road and Copples Lane. During these times, motorists will be directed to use Brookhaven Road and Rose Valley Road as detours.
Local access will remain available, but drivers should allow extra time when traveling near the work zone. Traffic backups and delays are expected. All activities depend on weather conditions.
Aqua Pennsylvania is completing this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, aiming to improve local infrastructure while managing the impact on daily commutes.
