SPRINGFIELD, PA — The 22nd annual Run for Heroes will be held on Sunday, October 8 at 9 a.m. at the Springfield Township Building, located at 50 Powell Road in Springfield.
The 5K walk/run stands as the flagship fundraiser for the Delaware County Hero Scholarship Fund. This exceptional initiative, established in 1977 by the Delaware County Council, aims to provide educational scholarships to the brave progeny of our fallen police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Since its inauguration in 2000, this event has successfully raised over $630,000 in support of this noble cause.
