LITITZ, PA – The Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research (KINBER) has welcomed a new face to its leadership team. Rachael Haverstick has been appointed as the organization’s new director of program operations.
Before joining KINBER, Haverstick utilized her skills as a curriculum and instruction specialist for the Lancaster Lebanon IU13. There, she played an instrumental role in providing educators, administrators, and district leaders with resources for curriculum development, school improvement planning, and professional education. Now, she will apply these skills to drive KINBER’s mission of advancing digital equity and fostering innovative use of digital technologies across Pennsylvania.
Nathan Flood, KINBER president and CEO, expressed his confidence in Haverstick’s ability to significantly contribute to the organization’s growth. “Rachael’s experience and success as a collaborator and leader will contribute immensely to KINBER’s ability to make a significant impact in Pennsylvania,” he said. “Her passion for enhancing educational practices and increasing student achievement will no doubt serve her well, and we’re excited to work with her.”
Haverstick is not just a dedicated professional but also an active member of her community. She is currently part of Leadership Lancaster’s Core Class, a leadership development program. Further, she is known for her volunteer work in various Lititz community organizations like Warwick United and Woodridge Swim Club, where she holds the position of vice president on its board of governors.
Her appointment comes at a time when digital equity and the innovative use of technology are more important than ever. As director of program operations, Haverstick will play a crucial role in shaping and leading KINBER’s programs to meet the evolving needs of Pennsylvania communities. With her at the helm, KINBER is poised to continue its forward momentum and make a significant impact in advancing digital equity across the commonwealth.
