CHESTER, PA — Power Home Remodeling has announced a remarkable achievement in their philanthropic efforts, with employees raising an unprecedented $2.26 million for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. This milestone was achieved through a range of employee-driven initiatives such as payroll contributions, lemonade stands, kickball tournaments, and auctions held throughout the summer.
Adam Kaliner, Co-Founder of Power Home Remodeling, expressed pride in the company’s continued support: “The donations we’ve made to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation have changed the lives of so many, but this organization has also made a huge impact on us. So much so, that ALSF’s mission has become intertwined with our POWER identity.”
Over the course of their partnership, Power Home Remodeling has contributed a total of over $9.86 million to ALSF. The funds are directed towards the “Power The Cure” initiative, which supports grants for innovative therapy approaches aimed at curing childhood cancers. This initiative will assist hundreds of children, many requiring critical treatment options for survival.
Liz Scott, Co-Executive Director of ALSF and Alex’s mother, acknowledged the company’s dedication, stating, “The commitment and passion the employees at POWER show each year by donating, raising awareness and supporting families is truly unique. They continue to go above and beyond to support this community.”
Power Home Remodeling’s efforts not only contribute financial resources but also provide hope and support to families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. Their commitment to ALSF’s mission exemplifies the company’s core values and the impact of their community-driven initiatives.
