BUCKS and MONTGOMERY COUNTIES, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a series of pipe replacement projects scheduled for several state highways in Bucks and Montgomery counties, leading to temporary road closures next week.
From Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, Falls Tullytown Road in Falls Township, Bucks County, will be closed between Mill Creek Parkway and New Falls Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. Detours will redirect traffic via Mill Creek Parkway, Levittown Parkway, and New Falls Road to rejoin Falls Tullytown Road.
Additionally, in Montgomery County, Evans Road in Lower Gwynedd Township will be closed on Tuesday, April 22, between Plymouth Road and Sumneytown Pike from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Traffic will detour along Sumneytown Pike, U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike), and Plymouth Road.
On the same day, Evergreen Road in Lower Pottsgrove and Limerick townships will close between Linfield Road/Sanatoga Road and Lightcap Road, with closures set from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Vehicles will be detoured via Evergreen Road, Rupert Road, High Street, Pleasantview Road, and Linfield Road.
Local access will remain available, but motorists are advised to anticipate delays and allow extra travel time when navigating these areas. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
