Pipe Replacement to Close Bustard Road, Expect Delays in Montgomery County

Traffic Restrictions

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that pipe replacement work will take place on Bustard Road from Monday, June 10, through Friday, June 14. The work is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.

During this period, Bustard Road in Towamencin and Worcester townships will be closed between Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Route 63 (Sumneytown Pike). Motorists will be directed to use Route 73, Old Forty-Foot Road, and Route 63 as detours.

Local access will be maintained, but drivers should expect backups and delays near the work area. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time. All activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT aims to complete this project efficiently while minimizing inconvenience.
