Pipe Replacement to Close 5th Street in Perkasie Borough

Road Closed

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that 5th Street in Perkasie Borough and East Rockhill Township will be closed next week for pipe replacement work. The closure is a part of efforts to improve the region’s road infrastructure.

The road will be closed between Callowhill Street and Old Bethlehem Road from Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 11. Work will take place daily between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. During this time, motorists will be detoured via Callowhill Street, Route 113 (Souderton Road), Route 313 (Dublin Pike), and Old Bethlehem Road.

Local access within the closure area will be maintained. However, PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional travel time due to anticipated delays and backups near the work zone.

All planned work is weather dependent, and any changes to the schedule will be communicated accordingly. Stay ahead of delays—visit the MyChesCo Traffic Center for real-time updates and plan your route with ease!
