Philadelphia Road Resurfacing to Cause Lane Closures and Delays

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that resurfacing operations will take place in Philadelphia next week.

From Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, lane closures will occur daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Walnut Street between 33rd Street and 63rd Street (Cobbs Creek Parkway) for line striping.

Additionally, Castor Avenue between U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) and Richmond Street will experience nightly lane closures from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM for line striping.

Aramingo Avenue/Harbison Avenue between Wheatsheaf Lane and U.S. 1 will also see nightly lane closures from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for milling.

Motorists should plan for extra travel time as traffic backups and delays are expected. All activities depend on weather conditions.
