Philadelphia Police Seek Two Suspects in Ongoing Homicide Investigation

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit say they continue to actively seek to identify two suspects and a vehicle linked to the shooting death of a 24-year-old man. The incident occurred on Friday, March 12th, 2021, around 10:45 PM, while the victim was sitting inside a parked vehicle in the 3200 block of Emerald Street.

The first suspect is described as a tall, Black male wearing a black jacket over a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark blue denim pants with distinct markings, and black shoes. He had his face covered with a dark-colored mask and was reported to be armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black jacket over a red hooded sweatshirt, light blue denim pants with distinct markings, and red athletic shoes with white soles. He also had his face concealed with a dark-colored mask.

The suspects are believed to have been operating a white four-door vehicle with a vanity type plate featuring red writing affixed to the front. The vehicle was last seen heading southbound on Kensington from Allegheny.

Authorities have urged the public not to approach these individuals if spotted but to contact 911 immediately.
