PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia’s Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man believed to be involved in the discharge of a firearm on a busy city highway.
On February 10, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., an unidentified man allegedly fired a handgun on the highway at 1200 Cecil B. Moore Avenue. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The suspect was last seen in a video from the Septa Market Frankford Line, exiting the train at the 56th Street and Market Street station.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark hooded jacket, gray Nike sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark sneakers. The public is advised not to approach the suspect if they see him but to contact 911 immediately.
