Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspect in High-Value Theft

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Central Detective Division of Philadelphia is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man believed to be involved in a high-value theft from a parked vehicle.

On February 19, 2024, around 4:30 a.m., an unidentified male allegedly broke into a vehicle parked in a garage on the 2300 block of Race Street. The suspect is said to have stolen medical implants valued at over $100,000.

The suspect is described as an unknown male, seen wearing a surgical mask and all dark clothing. The public is advised not to approach the individual if spotted but to contact 911 immediately.

Those with any information related to this event are encouraged to submit a tip via telephone by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477) or texting a tip to the same number. All tips will be kept confidential.

If anyone has any information about this alleged crime or the suspect, they are urged to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093/3094. Detective Fairweather is heading the investigation.
