Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Aid in Identifying Suspect in November Homicide

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man depicted in video footage related to the shooting death of a 26-year-old black male.

The incident occurred on November 4, 2023, at 12:17 a.m. inside 6320 Vine Street. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30s to early 40s with a medium build. He reportedly wears prescription eyeglasses and has a full beard and mustache. At the time of the incident, he was allegedly wearing a red hooded jacket with gray lining, gray Nike Balaclava headwear, a gray “Dark Side” Pacsun brand hoodie, black denim pants, and black boots. The suspect was last seen walking west on Vine Street.

The police are urging anyone who spots this individual not to approach him but to call 911 immediately.
