DOYLESTOWN, PA — In a joint effort between neighboring law enforcement agencies, the Philadelphia Police Department apprehended 20-year-old Anthony Owens on January 2, 2024. The young man was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office on two bench warrants related to burglary allegations.

The specifics of the alleged burglary incidents leading to Owens’ arrest were not immediately available. However, the issuance of bench warrants typically occurs when a defendant fails to appear in court for a scheduled hearing. It remains unclear at this time whether Owens’ charges stem from one or multiple alleged incidents.

Despite his arrest, it is important to note that an arrest does not constitute a declaration of guilt. As with all criminal cases, Owens is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. His arrest merely initiates the judicial process, during which the evidence will be examined, and his guilt or innocence determined.
