PHILADELPHIA, PA — This spring, the Philadelphia Marketplace returns to Dilworth Park, offering six weeks of pop-up shopping, artisan goods, and local creativity. Running from May 2 through June 28, 2025, the event will feature an evolving lineup of vendors every Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., providing handcrafted items ranging from jewelry and home goods to artwork and specialty foods.

Organized by the team behind the Christmas Village in Philadelphia and in partnership with the Center City District, the Marketplace has become a seasonal centerpiece for community engagement and small business support in the region.

“Philadelphia Marketplace is such a fantastic way to celebrate local creativity and kick off the weekend in the heart of Center City,” said Organizer Thomas Bauer. “Every year, we see an incredible variety of small businesses and makers from the tri-state area, and this season is even more exciting with the addition of our first-ever Vintage Marketplace weekends!”

Brand-new this year, the Vintage Marketplace will debut on May 30-31 and return on June 27-28, showcasing retro fashion, jewelry, and timeless trinkets alongside the event’s usual artisan stalls. Vendors such as Serendipity Vintage, B-Bop Vintage, and GARDEN Vintage will lead these specialty weekends, offering nostalgic treasures in a lively park setting.

Visitors can enjoy a rotating selection of participating artisans and makers throughout the event. Vendors include Harleysville Beekeeper, known for locally sourced honey, Cracked Bell’s Philadelphia merchandise, and Fairy Greens’ handcrafted candles and lavender bouquets. Guests can also find vintage clothing, 3D-printed toys, crochet creations, and gourmet cookies from favorites like Uncle Dave’s Cookies.

Admission to the Marketplace is free, with food, drinks, and gifts available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Visitors of all ages (and their furry friends) are invited to stop by and enjoy an afternoon of shopping and community fun, rain or shine.

The event’s regular schedule kicks off with its first weekend on May 2-3 and ends on June 27-28, providing a hub for downtown workers and weekend visitors to explore local craftsmanship and discover something truly unique.

With its blend of creativity, family-friendly entertainment, and the introduction of vintage-themed weekends, the Philadelphia Marketplace promises to be a highlight of the season. Mark your calendars for this celebration of artistry and commerce in the heart of Center City, and gear up for a season of springtime festivities!
