Philadelphia Gas Works Utility Improvement Scheduled on U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue) in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Philadelphia Gas Works will be performing gas main construction on U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue) in Philadelphia beginning Monday, August 21.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Monday, August 21, through Monday, October 9, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue) between 47th Street and 49th Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Philadelphia Gas Works will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
