READING, PA — Penske Used Trucks has unveiled its new online auction platform, revolutionizing the way buyers purchase used commercial vehicles. This digital marketplace aims to simplify the buying process with a seamless and intuitive interface, allowing for easy browsing and bidding on a diverse array of quality equipment.
The platform offers several notable features. Access is exclusive to registered users, ensuring a focused and secure bidding environment. Buyers benefit from transparent pricing, meaning no hidden fees, so they know exactly what they will pay. Each vehicle includes a free third-party condition report, providing independent assessments to inform buyers of the truck’s status.
Designed with user-friendliness in mind, the platform supports a straightforward bidding process. It incorporates flexible tools like auto bid, instant bid, and advanced bidding, enhancing convenience for participants. Auctions take place weekly, beginning every Tuesday at 8 a.m. EST and concluding on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. EST, featuring a variety of vehicles from light and medium-duty trucks to heavy-duty tractors and semi-trailers.
“We are committed to continuously improving the purchasing experience for our customers,” noted Jack Mitchell, senior vice president of vehicle remarketing for Penske Used Trucks. “The new auction site will provide an efficient, transparent, and user-friendly way to acquire quality used trucks.”
This innovative platform promises to meet the needs of buyers seeking reliable used commercial vehicles in a digital-first world.
