PennDOT to Hold Virtual Public Meeting on Belmont Avenue Roundabout Project

PennDOT

LOWER MERION TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is inviting the public to a virtual meeting to discuss an upcoming project that could significantly alter a key intersection in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County. The project aims to transform the signalized intersection at Belmont Avenue and St. Asaphs Road into a two-lane roundabout.

In an effort to keep the public informed and involved in the project, PennDOT has scheduled a live virtual public meeting for Wednesday, March 27, at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held via Microsoft Live Teams, with attendees expected to join by clicking on a provided link shortly before the start time.

During this meeting, PennDOT’s design team will present the project details, outlining the plans and expected impact of the proposed roundabout. Following the presentation, the team will answer questions from the public using the platform’s Q&A feature. This interactive session is part of PennDOT’s public outreach program, a critical component of their project planning process.

Participants will need internet access and either a computer or mobile device to join the virtual meeting. Those with special needs or requiring assistance are encouraged to reach out to PennDOT Project Manager Nathan Parrish for support.

For those unable to attend the live meeting, a recording will be available for viewing afterward on the project’s webpage. Here, the public can also find copies of the project materials and an online form to submit any lingering questions or feedback.
