MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — Construction efforts to enhance safety and traffic flow at the Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike), Route 463 (Horsham Road/Cowpath Road), and Business U.S. 202 (Doylestown Road) Intersection in Montgomery Township, commonly known as the Five-Points Intersection, will persist for the remainder of 2025, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced.
Part of a $14.2 million federally funded initiative, the project will include alternating lane closures and temporary traffic patterns on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:
- Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) between North Wales Road and McLaughlin Road
- Route 463 (Horsham Road/Cowpath Road) between Lansdale Avenue and North Wales Road
- Business U.S. 202 (Doylestown Road) between Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) and Betty’s Avenue
Motorists are encouraged to plan for delays and allow extra travel time when navigating these areas. PennDOT has emphasized that all scheduled work is weather dependent.
