WILMINGTON, DE — Onfolio Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: ONFO, ONFOW) has announced the appointment of Adam Trainor as interim Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2025. Trainor will continue in his current role as Chief Operations Officer as he transitions into this new responsibility.
Trainor has been with Onfolio since October 2020, initially managing several operating entities before becoming COO in January 2022. Over the past three months, he worked closely with outgoing CFO Esbe van Heerden to ensure a smooth transition. Van Heerden, who served as CFO and President, officially steps down on December 31, 2024, but will remain involved in an advisory role, assisting with SEC filings and audits.
“I’m thrilled at the opportunity to take on more responsibility at the Company,” said Trainor. “Overseeing the financials and capital allocation strategy while staying close to the day-to-day operations is something I’m uniquely suited to. Esbe has left the Company in an excellent position, and I’ll strive to continue that momentum as we move forward into 2025.”
Van Heerden reflected on her time at Onfolio, saying, “Serving Onfolio in various capacities—as COO, President, and most recently as CFO—has been both a pleasure and an incredible experience. I’m confident in the team and the direction we’re headed, and I’m excited to see the Company thrive in the years ahead.”
Onfolio CEO Dominic Wells praised her contributions, stating, “Esbe joined Onfolio in its very early days and was instrumental in building the systems and structure that allowed us to grow. We’re deeply grateful for her dedication and wish her the best in her next venture. Meanwhile, I’m thrilled to work even more closely with Adam in his new role as interim CFO. His growth over the years has been remarkable, and he’s perfectly positioned to guide us in this next phase.”
With this leadership transition, Onfolio aims to build on its achievements in 2024 and drive further growth and success in the coming year.
