PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced overnight lane closures on westbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) as part of a $37.9 million initiative to resurface the highway, repair ramps, and address structural issues on more than 20 bridges in Philadelphia and Montgomery County.

From Monday, April 7, through Thursday, April 10, single-lane closures will occur between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM on westbound I-76. The affected section lies between the U.S. 1 North (Roosevelt Expressway) and Lincoln Drive/Kelly Drive interchanges. These restrictions are necessary to facilitate bridge deck repairs and ensure safety during construction.

Motorists are advised to prepare for significant delays and allow extra time when traveling through these work zones. All schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
