PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced nighttime core boring activities on northbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia next week, which will likely cause traffic delays.
From Monday, July 15, through Thursday, July 18, a right lane closure will be in place from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM between the Allegheny Avenue and Betsy Ross Bridge interchanges. The northbound ramp to the Betsy Ross Bridge will also face closures.
Motorists should plan for extra travel time due to expected backups and delays. All activities are weather dependent. PennDOT urges drivers to exercise patience and caution while navigating the affected areas.
