YARDLEY, PA — A new French restaurant is bringing a touch of Paris to Bucks County with the opening of La Grange, a casual brasserie located in a restored 200-year-old stone barn within the Prickett Preserve development. The restaurant, created by father-and-son restaurateurs Vincent and Marc Masso along with business partner Michael Geonnotti, is set to open this spring at 915 Antique Alley.
La Grange aims to offer a relaxed French dining experience, drawing inspiration from iconic establishments like Pastis in New York and Parc in Philadelphia. “We want La Grange to be more than a special occasion destination,” said Geonnotti, noting the menu caters to both everyday meals and special outings.
The 6,000-square-foot space will seat 220 guests and feature dishes ranging from casual fare to French classics. The menu, created by experienced chef Peter Woolsey, will include a variety of options such as Escargots, Quiche Lorraine, Beef Bourguignon, and a 7 oz. burger. For dessert, diners can enjoy Crème Brûlée, Profiteroles, and other French favorites. Appetizers are priced between $9 and $22, entrees range from $22 to $54, and desserts fall between $10 and $12. A raw bar, French cocktails, house-made breads, and a carefully curated wine and beer list will complete the dining experience.
Woolsey brings extensive expertise to La Grange, having cooked at Paris’s three-star Michelin Lucas Carton and worked with notable chefs like Stephen Starr and Georges Perrier. “I’m excited to showcase the ‘greatest hits’ of French cuisine,” said Woolsey, adding that the offerings will appeal to both adventurous diners and those seeking simplicity.
The restaurant’s design blends rustic charm with modern touches. Designed by Mycle Gorman of Design Works, it features original barn timbers alongside contemporary finishes like antique brass accents, mosaic tiles, and Carrara marble. Two bars will anchor the interior, including a 20-seat atrium bar with burnished mirrors and European-style light fixtures. Outdoor seating will be available on a terrace and patio overlooking Bucks County’s rolling hills.
Art plays a major role in La Grange’s ambiance as well, with local French artist Jean-Marc Dubus contributing charcoal sketches accented with bold colors. These artworks add a modern contrast to the traditional setting, while the intimate fireplace lounge and atrium provide unique spaces for dining and relaxation.
La Grange will be open daily for lunch and dinner, with weekend brunch launching later this spring. A private event space will also be available for special occasions. Marc Masso summed up the vision for La Grange, saying, “We’re creating a fun, authentic, and stylish experience that we hope will resonate with the Bucks County community.”
With its combination of French culinary excellence, thoughtfully designed interiors, and local charm, La Grange is set to become a standout dining destination for both casual meals and memorable celebrations.
