WILMINGTON, DE — Nevron Software has officially released Nevron Open Vision for .NET 2024.1, the top suite of user interface components for Blazor, WPF, WinForms, and Mac. The new release brings significant enhancements across major UI components, particularly focusing on Chart, Diagram, and Rich Text Processor tools.
The suite now supports .NET Core 8.0 in addition to .NET Framework 4.7.2+, .NET 6.0, and .NET 7.0. Mac projects have migrated from Xamarin.Mac to .NET 8.0, making them compatible with Visual Studio Code and JetBrains Rider.
The NOV Chart for .NET version includes several new features. Surface Series now support Grid Surface, Mesh Surface, Triangulated Surface, and Vertex Surface Series, allowing for real-time, shader-optimized rendering with various visualization options. The Trendline Series enables visualization of Exponential, Linear, Logarithmic, Polynomial, Power, and Moving Average trendlines. Data Import supports importing data series from multiple sources, while Data Binding allows for automatic refresh when data sources change. Data Analysis integrates with NOV Formula Calculator for complex functions.
Enhanced features include a new Ribbon and Command bar interface that supports exporting chart images and modifying projections and palettes. The PDF Export UI now supports multiple pages.
The NOV Diagram for .NET version introduces layers, allowing better grouping, visibility, protection, and control by assigning page items to multiple layers. The update also improves Microsoft Visio import-export, enhancing support for VSDX and VSSX formats and improving the import of invisible shapes. Family Tree Diagrams now order persons by birth date and relationships by marriage date.
The Rich Text Processor has added NSimpleRichTextView, a simplified control similar to WordPad, which doesn’t allow the import or pasting of tables and multiple sections.
