Mystery Surrounds Woman’s Death Near Christiana Hospital – Police Seek Public’s Help

NEWARK, DE — The Delaware State Police have launched an investigation into the death of a North Carolina woman following an incident near Christiana Hospital on Saturday night. Authorities are appealing to the public for information as part of the ongoing inquiry.

The incident occurred on November 23, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., when officers responded to reports of an emergency involving a woman near the roadway by a retention pond at Christiana Hospital, located at 4755 Ogletown Stanton Road in Newark. Upon arrival, troopers discovered 42-year-old Amie Bradley unresponsive. Officers immediately initiated life-saving measures, and she was transported to the hospital by EMS personnel. Despite these efforts, Bradley was pronounced deceased. It has been clarified that Bradley was not an employee of the hospital.

The cause of death remains undetermined, and detectives are awaiting autopsy results to shed light on the circumstances surrounding her passing.
