Mysterious Thief Swipes Package from Tampa St. Residence in Broad Daylight

PHILADELPHIA, PA — An unidentified individual allegedly pilfered a package from the front porch of a residence on the 4700 block of Tampa Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. on December 19, 2023.

The suspect, described as male, was seen arriving at the scene in a dark-colored SUV. He then purportedly swiped the package which had been delivered earlier to the complainant’s doorstep. The stolen parcel contained an assortment of electronic devices, adding a level of intrigue to the alleged crime.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the police. However, they are also cautioning the public against approaching the suspect if spotted. Instead, residents should immediately dial 911 to report any sightings or potential leads.
