MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a resurfacing project in Montgomery County.

Starting Monday, September 9, through Friday, September 13, lane closures will occur on Kutztown Road and Swamp Creek Road. Work will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Kutztown Road closures will stretch from Route 663 (Layfield Road) to the Berks County line in Upper Hanover Township. Swamp Creek Road closures will extend between Geryville Pike and the Bucks County line in Marlborough Township.

Motorists should prepare for delays and allow more travel time. The project involves milling and paving to enhance road safety and provide smoother driving surfaces. Weather conditions will affect the schedule.
