Miri Technologies Unveils Miri X510 Router to Revolutionize Internet Connectivity

Business News

READING, PA — Miri Technologies Inc., a budding name in network technology, has stepped into the spotlight with the introduction of its new Miri X510 dual-cellular bonding router. This cutting-edge device is designed to merge multiple wired and wireless connections into one robust link, ensuring strong internet performance even in areas with poor coverage.

In an era where digital connectivity is crucial, many still grapple with unreliable internet, affecting productivity and causing frustration. The Miri X510 addresses these issues by bonding up to seven internet connections. This feature makes it ideal for a range of situations, from live event streaming in remote locations to maintaining business operations for remote workers.

Utilizing channel bonding technology from Speedify, the X510 combines Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, satellite, and mobile data to provide faster speeds and improved reliability. The router includes features like automatic failover to maintain seamless connectivity, two SIM slots for 5G and 4G modems, Wi-Fi 6, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. It also supports Speedify’s Pair & Share function, allowing data sharing from mobile devices on the same network.

Miri collaborated with video production expert Magewell during the development of the X510 to meet the demanding needs of live streamers and broadcasters. The router will be showcased at Magewell’s booth during the 2024 NAB Show New York on October 9 and 10.

Unlike traditional video systems, the Miri X510 is versatile, supporting all types of data, making it suitable for diverse uses from financial transactions to live streaming. Ryan Brenneman, CTO of Miri Technologies, emphasized, “While the Miri X510 is ideal for public safety, retail, and hospitality, live event streaming and remote production are two of the most demanding use cases due to high bandwidth needs. We designed the X510 with these challenges in mind, proving its capabilities from convention centers to rural fields.”

The router’s compact design supports portable uses like on-location video production, featuring slots for hot-swappable NP-F batteries. Speedify’s encryption ensures secure data transmission, and users can select their preferred server location for optimized performance and data sovereignty. The first three months of Speedify subscription are complimentary with the purchase of the Miri X510, which is priced at $1695 USD in the U.S.

Distribution in the Americas is handled by Mobile Video Devices, Inc., promising widespread availability for those seeking reliable and high-speed internet solutions.
