MILLERSBURG, PA — Mid Penn Bank, a subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: MPB), has announced the appointment of Mark Ewing as vice president and commercial loan officer for the Greater Philadelphia area market.

With over 30 years of experience in commercial banking, Ewing brings a wealth of expertise in business lending, financial analysis, and portfolio management. His most recent role was vice president of small business banking at Wilmington Savings Fund Society, where he collaborated with business clients in the Main Line and Upper Montgomery Counties to deliver customized lending solutions. Additionally, Ewing spent 18 years as senior vice president at Univest Bank and Trust/Fox Chase Bank, where he managed multi-million-dollar loan portfolios and spearheaded improvements in lending operations.

At Mid Penn Bank, Ewing will focus on driving business development and enhancing the bank’s presence in the Greater Philadelphia area. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and finance from Widener University and will report to Regional President Jared Utz.

Ewing’s appointment aims to strengthen Mid Penn Bank’s regional services and deliver tailored financial solutions to local businesses.
