MILLERSBURG, PA — Mid Penn Bank, a subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: MPB), has appointed Mark Ewing as vice president and commercial loan officer for the Greater Philadelphia area.
Ewing brings over 30 years of experience in commercial banking, with expertise in business lending, financial analysis, and portfolio management. He previously served as vice president of small business banking at Wilmington Savings Fund Society, working closely with clients in the Main Line and Upper Montgomery Counties to develop customized lending strategies. Before that, Ewing spent nearly two decades as senior vice president of commercial banking at Univest Bank and Trust/Fox Chase Bank, overseeing multi-million-dollar loan portfolios and spearheading improvements in lending processes.
Ewing holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and finance from Widener University. At Mid Penn Bank, he will focus on strengthening business development efforts in the Greater Philadelphia region, reporting directly to Regional President Jared Utz.
The appointment highlights Mid Penn Bank’s commitment to expanding services and fostering growth within the local business community.
