WAYNE, PA — Mid Penn Bank marked a significant milestone with the opening of its first full-service financial center in Delaware County. A ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 12 celebrated the new office at 212 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA, attended by community leaders, state officials, and business representatives.

The newest addition to Mid Penn’s growing footprint in the Greater Philadelphia area, the Wayne location offers a range of traditional banking services alongside trust, wealth management, and insurance solutions. Customers can also utilize drive-thru banking, a state-of-the-art ATM Plus interactive teller, and private meeting spaces for personalized consultations.

Mid Penn President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi welcomed attendees at the event, expressing gratitude to local leaders, including Pennsylvania State Senator Amanda Cappelletti, Delaware County Council member Kevin Madden, and Radnor Township Commissioner Cathy Agnew, among others. “We couldn’t be more excited to plant our flag here in Wayne,” Ritrievi said.

Regional President Jeffrey Steigerwalt shared his enthusiasm for the Bank’s new presence in the area. “We’re thrilled to officially open our doors in Wayne and join such a vibrant community,” he said. “We look forward to building meaningful relationships and providing financial solutions that support the needs of individuals and businesses in the area.”

The new Wayne office continues Mid Penn Bank’s expansion strategy across the Philadelphia metro region. Following the recent opening of its Camden location, the Bank’s footprint will grow further in April 2025 when it completes the merger with William Penn Bank, bringing its total number of financial centers to 59.

Centrally located on the Main Line, the Wayne financial center offers easy access from Interstate 276 and 476, along with ample on-site parking. Vice President Caroline Buto will oversee daily operations at the new office.
