Meadow Valley Road Closure to Cause Traffic Slowdowns in Ephrata Township

EPHRATA TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced a box culvert replacement on Meadow Valley Road (Route 1020) in Ephrata Township, Lancaster County.

Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday, June 13. The structure spans Meadow Run between Rettew Mill Road and Royer Road and will be closed during construction.

A detour will be in place using Rothsville Road (Route 1018) and Route 272. Motorists should plan for extra travel time as traffic slowdowns are expected.

JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs, PA, is the contractor for this $869,371 project. All work is scheduled for completion by August 19, 2024.
