HARRISBURG, PA — McNees Government Relations (McNees GR) is strengthening its foothold in the Delaware Valley by welcoming Brittney Baker Shurr as a government affairs and business development consultant. Based in Reading, she brings over a decade of experience in government relations and grassroots advocacy.

Brittney Baker Shurr has an extensive background in local advocacy and legislative outreach, focusing on land use, real estate development, and environmental policy. Her new role will see her supporting clients across the Lehigh Valley and the greater Philadelphia area. Michael G. Musser II, president of McNees GR Advocacy, highlighted her regional expertise, stating, “Brittney brings more than a decade of experience in local on-the-ground advocacy and legislative outreach strategy, working with local governments and coalitions. Previously, Baker Shurr served as the Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy for the Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS®, spearheading government affairs and political advocacy. Her career began in the Office of Governor Tom Corbett, further enhancing her deep understanding of Pennsylvania’s political landscape. A graduate of Kutztown University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government.
