LANCASTER, PA — Timothy Beachley, a resident of Bel Air, Maryland, is set to face serious allegations in the Lancaster Court of Common Pleas, following a preliminary hearing that unveiled disturbing details of his interactions with a 14-year-old. The charges against Beachley include attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of a minor.
During the hearing before Magisterial District Judge Joshua Keller, Assistant District Attorney Steve Sess presented testimony from two key witnesses: the victim and Sergeant Jason Scott of the Millersville Borough Police Department. The court learned that the victim met Beachley, who used the pseudonym “Eric,” on the website sugardaddy.com. Their online conversation quickly escalated to sexual topics within a day or two of their initial contact.
The incident in question occurred on August 20, 2023, when Beachley reportedly traveled from Maryland to Millersville, Pennsylvania. According to the victim’s testimony, Beachley paid for her to get her nails done, during which he allegedly expected oral sex and made physical contact with her thigh. The situation escalated to the point where the victim felt compelled to hide in the nail salon’s bathroom, fearing for her safety until the police were summoned.
Sergeant Scott corroborated the account, noting that video evidence captured a man matching Beachley’s description and a juvenile in Beachley’s vehicle on the day of the alleged incident.
Beachley was formally charged on January 24, 2024, and subsequently released on $150,000 unsecured bail. His arraignment is scheduled for April 26.
It is critical to emphasize that the charges filed against Beachley are allegations and that he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
